The day began before sunrise with Elise getting ready with her makeup artist and hair stylist, Kelsey McCrink of Electric Ocean Kauai, where Elise took the quiet early morning moments to herself to transfer her vows into a lovely vow book for their ceremony. It had been raining all morning, but as soon as we arrived on location in Mahaulepu Beach, the skies cleared. We were able to celebrate their moment basking in the warm sunrise glow on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Elise carried a beautifully full bouquet arranged by Jolene from Kealoha Flowers, which paired beautifully with her elegant dress from Grace Loves Lace. Among the many beautiful moments captured, my favorites included all of the shots that allowed me to include the incredible location. After their elopement ceremony, we toured the island and shot on many different locations. We then flew to Oahu for the remainder of our stay, and went to several other locations to capture incredible imagery, surf, and capture the love shared between them.
